   low loss plasmonic bragg gratings with a trench plasmonic waveguide

چکیده    We designed plasmonic bragg gratings based on a plasmonic trench waveguide and calculated the characteristics of the designed structure. conventional plasmonic bragg gratings are typically designed by changing the width of the plasmonic waveguides. in our structure, we examined changes in the depth of a trench plasmonic waveguide. this structure eliminated the abrupt shape change at the wall of the waveguide where surface plasmon polaritons propagate, to decrease losses. our numerical calculations clarified the optimal grating period and the number of grating periods necessary for the structure to operate as a low loss bragg grating.
