بررسی راهبرد «معرفت‌شناسی اختلاف باور دینی» در الهیات تطبیقی

مواجهه با تکثر دینی که از مهم‌ترین ویژگی‌های زیست در جهان معاصر است، مسئله‌های متعددی را در ساحت معرفت‌شناسی و الهیات مطرح کرده است و آگاهی از تنوع دینی و اختلاف باورهای دینی وظایف معرفتی فرد دین‌دار را به چالش می‌کشد. در حوزۀ معرفت‌شناسیِ اختلاف باور که زیرشاخه‌ای از معرفت‌شناسی است، وظایف معرفتی فرد در مواجهه با اختلاف باور تعیین می‌شود و راهکارهای متعددی از مصالحه‌گرایی تام تا نامصالحه‌گرایی برای تعیین وظیفۀ معرفتی در اختلاف باور معرفی می‌شود. الهیات تطبیقی نیز با رویکرد دینی و الهیاتی، قصد پاسخ‌گویی به چالش تکثر دینی و رویکردهای مختلف الهیاتی در مواجهه با تکثر دینی را دارد که از این طریق به دنبال فهمی عمیق‌تر از ایمان است. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی به دنبال یافتن راهکاری معرفتی با رویکرد معرفت‌شناسی اختلاف باور متناسب با الهیات تطبیقی است تا این الهیات نوظهور بتواند به اهداف و دستاوردهای الهیاتی خود برسد. نتیجه‌ای که از این پژوهش حاصل می‌شود آن است که با اتخاذ مبنایی میان نامصالحه‌گرایی و مصالحه‌گرایی و با تکیه ‌بر تشکیکی‌بودن باور دینی و طرح مناقشه در اثبات همتای معرفتی، می‌توان رویکردی هنجاری برای الهیات تطبیقی معرفی کرد تا این الهیات نوظهور در دام تعلیق باور، نسبی‌گرایی، شکاکیت و یا تغییر کیش گرفتار نشود.

A Consideration of the Approach of “Epistemology of Religious Disagreements” in Comparative Theology

The encounter with religious plurality and diversity, which is a main characteristic of life in the contemporary world, has posed a number of epistemological and theological problems. Awareness of religious diversity and religious disagreements presents challenges to the discharge of epistemic duties by the religious person. In epistemology of disagreements, as a branch of epistemology, an individual’s epistemic duties in the face of disagreements are specified, and various approaches have been adopted from quite conciliatory views to steadfast views. Comparative theology takes up a religious approach to respond to the challenge of religious plurality and diverse theological approaches in the face of such plurality in order to arrive at a deeper understanding of religious faith. In this article, we deploy the descriptiveanalytic method to find an epistemic solution based on the epistemology of religious disagreements with which this newly emerged theology can attain its goals. We conclude that by adopting an intermediary approach between steadfast and conciliatory views and drawing on the graded nature of religious beliefs and rejection of the idea of epistemic peers, we can propose a normative approach to comparative theology so that it does not fall into suspension of beliefs, relativism, skepticism, or religious conversion.
