چکیده
|
Varotylus jairajpurii found in paschim medinipur,west bengal,india is distinguished from all species of varotylus in general and its closest ally v. siddiqii mulk and jairajpuri and v. secondus mulk and jairajpuri in particular on the basis of small spirally curved body,high hemispherical lip with distinct annulations which is continuous with body and flat at apex,long stylet,excretory pore near oesophago-intestinal junction and cylindrical tail with broadly rounded striated terminus. a key to all twelve world species of varotylus is presented here including the new species. copyright 2011 zoological society of pakistan.
