چکیده
|
A new species of nematode (nematoda: rhabdochonidae) is reported here from the stomach of a fish,cyprinion watsoni (day,1872) caught at river bolan,sibi division,balochistan. rhabdochona pakistanica n. sp. is distinguished from all species of the genus rhabdochona railliet,1916 in general and its closest allies (possessing 8 prostomal teeth) mainly in body size,spicules ratio,number and distribution of caudal papillae,shape of the egg and position of vulva and excretory pore. copyright 2012 zoological society of pakistan.
