چکیده
|
The milk samples collected from various zones of multan city were examined for microbial load. most of the milk samples except for the milk collected from gulgasht colony (2.5×107cfu ml-1),ghantaghar (2.5×106 cfu ml-1) and b. z. university (7.8×105 cfu ml-1) were within the standard limits. however,100% milk samples were found to harbor staphylococcus aureus and moulds,while eschrichia coli and salmonella were detected in 78.57% and 42.85% samples,respectively indicative of unhygienic practices adapted from farm to consumers. copyright © 2015 zoological society of pakistan.
