چکیده
|
Full grown male pupae of the peach or guava fruit fly,bactrocera zonata were irradiated with sterilizing and substerilizing doses of gamma radiation. the effect of gamma rays on the dna patterns of adult males showed alterations from the control. exposure to radiation caused very frequently the appearance of some extra bands and the deficiency of others in the rapd-pcr amplification patterns of the irradiated insects. copyright 2017 zoological society of pakistan.
