چکیده
|
In this paper,some exponential type estimators have been proposed for estimating the finite population mean in double sampling using information on two auxiliary variables. the estimators have been discussed for independent and dependent samples under simple random sampling without replacement. the expressions for mean square errors and biases have been derived. an empirical study has been carried out to compare the efficiency of proposed estimators with some available estimators in literature. © 2012 pakistan journal of statistics.
