|
Knowledge management has been widely discussed in recent years; however,few studies focused on job characteristics. in this study,knowledge management is structured as the independent variable,organizational performance the dependent variable,and learning organization the mediator to understand the effects of knowledge management on organizational performance or the effects of knowledge management on organizational performance with the mediating of learning organization. taiwanese enterprises,including hon hai,quanta,cathay life insurance,compal,cpc,formosa petrochemical,acer,and wistron,which were listed in 2011 global 500 published in fortune,were selected as the research subjects. total 480 questionnaires were distributed. having deducted invalid and incomplete ones,328 valid copies were retrieved,with the retrieval rate 68%. each retrieved questionnaire was regarded as a valid sample in this study. with spss statistics software,factor analysis,multiple regression analysis,and hierarchical regression analysis were applied to data analyses. the research outcomes are expected to provide suggestions and reference for enterprises which tend to implement knowledge management. © 2012 pakistan journal of statistics.
