Critical success factors in overseas investment of high-tech industry

Based on the strategic motivation for enhancing the global operation and coping with the change of international environments,overseas investment has become the specific presentation for the expansion of international businesses. particularly,overseas investment has been significantly increased with the development of international businesses after world war ii. individual technology and the experiences in management could expand the operation performance of an enterprise,which could also consider creating innovative opportunities in overseas markets to sustain the business. this study first explains the development of overseas investment and the planning considerations of high-tech industry in taiwan and proceeds data analyses of the owners,taiwanese managers,and employees in high-tech industry with questionnaire survey in order to discuss the key success factor in overseas investment of high-tech industry in taiwan. within the key success factor in overseas investment of high-tech industry in the second hierarchy,political dimension is mostly emphasized,with the weight 0.436,about 43.6% of the overall weight,followed by social (weight 0.313) and economic (weight 0.251). the investigation results present political being the mostly emphasized dimension for the overseas investment of high-tech industry. © 2013 pakistan journal of statistics.
