|
This study aims to discuss the current situations of preschool teachers' music cognition and practice in the aesthetic area of new curriculum guideline for preschool as well as teachers' opinions of music instruction for children in kaohsiung city. prior to the questionnaire survey,eight preschool teachers are interviewed. subsequently,the questionnaires are taken for the opinions of the aesthetic area in new curriculum guidelines for preschool teachers. teachers in preschools which practice music instructions in kaohsiung city are preceded the questionnaire survey. music teachers in 705 preschools in kaohsiung city are randomly sampled,and comparative survey of current situation of music instruction and new curriculum guidelines of aesthetic area in kaohsiung city preschools are self-designed as the research tool for the investigation from november to december,2012. spss is applied to analyzing the quantitative data with percentage,mean,standard deviation,t-test,and one-way analysis of variance. the qualitative interview data are abstracted the transcripts,and the open-ended questions are organized with excel. the research is concluded as below. © 2013 pakistan journal of statistics.
