Efficiency measures of the internet company in China using a three-stage dea model

This paper measured the performance and variation tendency about internet company of china from 2009 to 2011 based on the three-stage data envelopment analysis model. the results show as follows: the internet companies of china are really affected by external environmental factors such as regional economic,population environment,scale of the company and random errors. the total operating efficiency of internet company will be overestimated when using the methods of data envelopment analysis model which do not remove these environmental and random factors. the result also shows the efficiency of the internet company in china is low and in progressing scale revenue. there is great room for this industry develop from the way of expansion. from the geographical point of view,the operating condition of internet enterprises in developed areas is better than the other area. © 2014 pakistan journal of statistics.
