|
Acid fingering is an unstable displacement that happens when low viscous acid displaces more viscous pad fluid during acid fracturing. fingering has a vital influence on the conductivity of acid fractures. the essence of this phenomenon is the instability of hydrodynamics. compared with mathematical modeling and software analysis,physical simulation is more direct-viewing. in this paper,a large-scale device is provided for the visual physical simulation of acid fingering. it reveals that fracture‟s surface temperature,acid concentration and pad fluid/acid viscosity ratio are the top three factors that affect acid fingering most after analyzing acid fingering‟s fractal dimension and multi-fractal spectrum under the main influence parameters such as acid concentration,pad fluid/acid viscosity ratio,acid injection flow rate,perforated intervals,and the fracture‟s surface temperature. the fractal dimension and the multi-fractal spectrum of acid fingering is 1.844~1.952 and 0.510~0.618,respectively. © 2014 pakistan journal of statistics.
