Some characterizations of well-known truncated univariate discrete distributions based on hazard rate and reversed hazard rate had been discussed in literature. in this paper we introduce two characterizations of distribution. the truncated poisson based on reversed hazard rate and mean residual life function. © 2014 pakistan journal of statistics.
