چکیده
|
The geometric poisson (also called pólya-aeppli) distribution is a particular case of compound poisson distribution. in this article we prove that geometric poisson distribution (gpd) is infinitely divisible,not log-concave,unimodal and also obtain its survival function. moreover,first order negative moment of gpd is given and finally its characterization is done via recursive relation of factorial moments. © 2014 pakistan journal of statistics.
