|
This paper develops bayesian estimators of two unknown parameters of exponentiated pareto distribution under various loss functions. bayesian estimators cannot be obtained in closed forms. lindley's approximation is suggested to compute the approximate bayesian estimates. bayesian estimates are compared with their maximum likelihood counterparts via monte carlo simulation. a real data is analyzed for illustrative purposes. © 2016 pakistan journal of statistics.
