چکیده    Killer-sensitive pattern (ksp) was screened by cross reactions in 50 yeast species belonging to 20 genera which were previously isolated from different dairy products. the killer-sensitive pattern (ksp) appeared as strain character rather than species level. among all yeasts, strain designated as yf19-lipomyces starkeyi appeared as the most killer i.e. showed 46.93% killing activity and strains appeared as most sensitive were yf45-bullera pyricola (77.55%),yf42-pichia heimii (77.50%),yf87-bullera pseudoalba (51.02%) and y90-williopsis californica (42.86%).
