چکیده
|
این مقاله کوششی است برای یافتن اصل بعضی کلمات ضبط‌شده در ذیل فرهنگ‌های فارسی و در عین حال تصحیح بعضی سهوهای آن کتاب یا آنچه به نظر نویسنده سهو رسیده‌است. در ضمن بحث، معمولاً اشاره‌وار و بدون بحث مفصّل، اشتقاقات نادرست بعضی فرهنگ‌های دیگر نیز اصلاح شده‌است. در پایان مقاله سعی در اثبات این امر شده که در فارسی میانه لغت rāz به معنی «عمارت» و «بِنا» وجود ندارد و از شواهد موجود می‌توان تنها به یک لغت rāz به معنی «معمار» و «بنّا» رسید.

this article is an attempt to find the origin of some words recorded under persian dictionaries and at the same time to correct some mistakes in that book or what the author thinks were mistakes. in the meantime, the wrong derivations of some other cultures have also been corrected, usually in a hint and without detailed discussion. at the end of the article, an attempt has been made to prove that there is no word rāz meaning &building& and &builder& in middle persian, and from the available evidence, we can arrive at only one word rāz meaning &architect& and &builder&
