معرفی فرهنگ عربی فارسی مشکاه‌ المصابیح

فرهنگ عربی فارسی مشکاه‌‌المصابیح تالیف مصطفی‌بن قباد لاذقی، فرهنگ‌نویس قرن هشتم، است. حدود هزار مدخل این کتاب، علاوه‌بر تعریف‌های فارسی، دربردارندﮤ مترادفات و حواشی ترکی است و با تسامح می‌توان آن را فرهنگی سه‌زبانه دانست. در این مقاله پس از معرفی کتاب و مولف و بررسی ویژگی‌های نسخه‌ها، شماری از واژه‌های کم‌کاربرد به‌کاررفته در تعریف‌ها را بررسی خواهیم کرد.

introducing the arabic-persian dictionary of mishkāt al-masābīh

the arabic-persian dictionary of mishkāt al-masābīh was compiled by mustafā bin qubād lazeqī in the 8th century hijrah. around 1,000 of its entries have not only persian definition but also turkish equivalents and explanations such that the dictionary may be roughly considered as a trilingual one. beginning with an introduction about the dictionary, its compiler, and the features of its different copies, the present article proceeds to highlight and explore the less frequently used lexical items employed in its entry definitions.
