چکیده
|
سندبادنامه یا قصه هفت وزیر داستانی است کهن و آموزنده با نشر گسترده و شهرت جهانی که پیشینه آن در قالب کتاب به ایران پیش از اسلام و ادبیات پهلوی بازمی‌گردد. برگردان‌ها و بازترجمه‌های گوناگون سندبادنامه گواه شهرت و اهمیت این اثر است که در زمان خود یکی از توسعه یافته‌ترین ساختارهای داستان در داستان را دارا بوده است. محور اصلی مقاله حاضر بررسی قدیمی‌ترین شواهد این اثر (متونِ گروه شرقی سندبادنامه) است، بالاخص روایت موجود در کتاب صد و یک شب که از چشم پژوهشگرانی که به اصل و منشا سندبادنامه پرداخته‌اند دور مانده است. کشف نسبتاً جدید قدیمی‌ترین نسخه صد و یک شب و نزدیکی تاریخی و فرهنگی سندبادنامه آن با روایت اسپانیایی کهن از سندبادنامه، که یکی دیگر از روایت‌های بسیار قدیمی سندبادنامه است، در پذیرفته‌ترین نظریه‌ها دایر بر انتقال این کتاب از شرق به غرب تردید به وجود می‌آورد.

Abstract
|
the book of sindbād (sinbād-nāmeh) or the story of seven viziers is one of the ancient didactic books with an extraordinarily wide popularity whose origins would go back to the pre-islamic persia and middle persian literature. as in the one thousand and one nights, this book is presented and organized by the frame tale’s literary technique. the large number of translations and versions of this book shows its importance as one of the best examples of the technique mentioned above. the main focus of this paper is a review of the most early versions or translations of the book of sindbād (eastern versions), specially the one that can be found in the collection of stories in the one hundred and one nights that has so far mostly been ignored by researchers who have studied the origin of the book of sindbād. the relatively recent discovery of the most ancient manuscript of this version and its historical and cultural proximity to the old spanish translation of this book, raises doubts in the most accepted theories about the transfer of this book from the east to the west.
