انیس الحُجّاج صفی بن ولی قزوینی؛ راهنمای مصوّر سفر دریایی حج از هند

صفی بن ولی قزوینی، نویسنده ایرانی دربار اورنگ‌زیب گورکانی است که به درخواست دختر وی، زیب‌النساء بیگم، اثری به زبان فارسی به نام انیس الحُجّاج، در شرح حج‌گزاری خود در سال 1087ق،  نوشته است. انیس الحجّاج احتمالاً تنها متن موجود از سده‌های میانی و احتمالاً قدیمی‌ترین متن فارسی در شرح سفر حج از هند، از مسیر دریایی، در سده‌های میانی است و از این‌رو، ارزش تاریخی ویژه‌ای در تاریخ حج‌گزاری مسلمانان هند دارد. این کتاب پیش از آنکه یک سفرنامه به مفهوم مصطلح باشد که در آن یادداشت‌های روزانه سفر و خاطرات مولف ثبت شده باشد، یک کتاب راهنما برای حج‌گزاران هندی است که این مسئله، آن را به اثری مهم تبدیل کرده است. کارکرد این اثر به عنوان راهنمای حج‌گزاران، عاملی بوده تا در برخی از نسخه‌های خطی آن، نگاره‌های هنری زیبا و نفیسی از نقشه‌های شهرهای واقع در طول مسیر و نیز مناسک حج و کاروان‌های حج ملت‌های مسلمان ترسیم شود. نتیجه این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که انیس الحجّاج اثری است که به عنوان راهنمای مصوّر سفر دریایی حج از هند و البته تقریباً مخصوص دربار، پدید آمده است.

Anis alHajjaj by Safi bin Vali Ghazvini An Illustrated Guide for Marian Journeys from India to Hajj

AbstractSafi bin Vali Ghazvini was an Iranian writer in the Aurangzeb Gurkani court. Due to the request of Aurangzeb’s daughter, Zieb alNesa Baygum, Safi wrote a book in Persian called Anis alHajjaj, a commentary on his Hajj journey in 1087 A.H. Anis alHajjaj is probably the only text available from the Middle Ages and probably the oldest Persian text in the description of the Hajj journey from India through the sea route; therefore, it has a special historical value in the history of the Indian Muslims’ Hajj journey. More than a travelogue in which the author’s notes and memoirs with regard to his Hajj journey are recorded, this book is a guidebook for Indian pilgrims; a feature that makes it an important work. The function of this work as a guidebook for the pilgrims led some of its manuscripts to include the beautiful artistic illustrated pictures of the maps of the cities located along the route, as well as the rites of pilgrimage and Hajj caravans of Muslim nations. The result of this research is that Anis alHajjaj is a work created as a guide to the pilgrimage of Hajj from India, and it was almost certainly written for the court.
