کارکردهای موعود باوری در آیین یهود

اندیشه «مسیحا» و «موعود» در تاریخ آیین یهود، همواره با اختلاف‌ها و فراز و نشیب هایی همراه بوده است؛ اما آیا باور داشت موعود، در عرصه های تربیتی و اجتماعی، برای یهودیان دارای فواید و دستاور‌دهایی بوده است؟ این جستار با روش توصیفی تحلیلی به سوال مذکور پاسخ داده و معتقد است باور‌داشت موعود در آیین یهود، امری صرفاً اعتقادی نبوده، بلکه بسته به کیفیت اعتقاد به آن، کارکردهایی برای یهودیان به‌عنوان پیروان دین الاهی، نه به‌عنوان دینی سیاسی و ابزار دردست صهیونیسم؛ در برداشته است و در‌ واقع این باور، مکانیسم و اهرمی برای تحقق برخی از آرمان های آیین یهود به شمار می رود. به‌عبارت‌دیگر: اعتقاد به موعود، همواره برای یهودیان دستاوردها و کارکردهایی در عرصه معرفتی- اعتقادی، چون شریعت‌گرایی و ترغیب به توبه داشته و در عرصه اخلاقی- تربیتی، کارکردی چون امید افزایی و الگوسازی؛ و در عرصه اجتماعی- سیاسی، کارکردی چون پویایی و صبر‌افزایی، در پی داشته‌است.

The Functions of Believing in the Messiah in Judaism

The idea of “Messiah” and the “Promised One” in the history of Judaism has always been with disputes and vicissitudes however, has believing in the Messiah had any advantages and achievements for the Jews in the educational and social areas? This article, with an analytical-descriptive method answers this question and believes believing in the Messiah in Judaism is not just a faith-related issue rather, it has had functions depending on the quality of believing it for the Jews as the followers of a Divine religion, not as a political religion and a tool in the hands of Zionism. In fact, this belief is considered as a mechanism and a lever in the achievement of some of the goals of Judaism.In other words, believing in the Messiah has always had achievements and functions in perceptional-ideological areas like legalism and the encouragement of repenting, and in the moral and educational areas- it has functions like hope raising and modelling, and in the social-political areas, it has functions like dynamism and patience raising.
