The history of shi’a social life started with the society in time of the prophet and finishes with the society that will be made in time of the mahdavi utopia. getting involved in social activities and realities of the life has not stopped shi’a to follow its goal for reaching the perfection of the appearance time. it is probable that for this very reason the infallible imamsa.s. have always tried to water mahdavi teachings with strong narrations and new ideas.this paper attempts to recognize mahdavi doctrine and its dimensions with a descriptive and analyzing method from the view point of imam rezaa.s.. the paper supposes that the mahdavi thought is the final perfection and is the significant future of the world and the finial perfection for the human history that has some identical characteristics and features from imam reza’sa.s. point of view and works on mahdavi semantics in islam. considering razavi models in defining mahdavi teachings is a starting point that the writer chooses for giving a clear image of the discussion.in continue, the writer also mentions the characteristics and special features of mahdaviyyat from imam reza’sa.s. point of view. among what the writer has found in relation to what has been said are universality of mahdavi thought, connections between waiting and mahdaviyyat and the presence of the promised savior and the strong connection between mahdaviyyat and the future-looking.whatever, the present paper gives this hope to its willing readers that the field of investigation and researching in mahdavi fruitful scope is still looking for the honest researchers that try their best to re-present this mysterious and tricky way
