بررسی چیستی، منشا و وجه نیاز به دین با تاکید بر نظریات خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی

دین‌پژوهی رشته‌ای علمی است که در آن از مسائلی بحث می‌شود که حول محور دین می‌چرخند. ازجمله اینکه تعریف دین چیست، سبب پیدایش یا گرایش به دین کدام است و اینکه چرا مردم نیازمند دین می‌باشند؟ متکلمان مسلمان و الهی‌دانان مسیحی هریک پاسخ‌هایی را برای این پرسش‌ها مطرح کرده‌اند. ازجمله‌ ایشان خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی، متکلم و فیلسوف شیعی قرن هفتم است. ایشان تعریف ماهوی از دین ارائه نمی‌دهند و به جای آن بر کارکردهای دین تاکید می‌کنند که می‌توان با کنار هم قرار دادن این کارکردها تعریف دین را از منظر ایشان به دست آورد.همچنین مبدا پیدایش دین از نظر ایشان، صفات کمالیه الهی ازجمله خیریت محض، حکمت، هادی بودن و جواد بودن است. در خصوص سبب گرایش مردم به دین نیز ایشان فطرت انسانی را دلیل این مسئله قلمداد می‌کنند. درباره وجه نیاز به دین، ایشان وجوهی را ذکر می‌کنند؛ ازجمله نیاز مردم به حاکم صالح، جلوگیری از شر و فساد، تعلیم و تربیت و موارد دیگر.

religious studies is a scientific field that responds to questions about religion, including the definition of religion, the cause of its emergence or inclination towards it, and why people need religion. muslim and christian theologians each present answers to these questions. khwāja nasīr al-dīn al-tūsī is a shiite theologian and philosopher of the seventh century. he does not provide a substantive definition of religion but rather emphasizes the functions of religion, from which we can derive his definition and view of religion. he holds that the origin of religion is the divine attributes of perfection, including absolute goodness, wisdom, guidance, and generosity. regarding the cause of people’s inclination towards religion, he considers human nature to be the reason. he also specifies various reasons for the necessity of religion, including the need for a righteous ruler, the prevention of evil and corruption, the need for education, and etc.
