چگونگی بازنمایی هویت زن ایرانی در سفرنامه‌‌های خارجی عصر قاجار

هدف این پژوهش بررسی چگونگی بازتاب تصویر زنان ایرانی در سفرنامه‌‌های خارجی است. سیاحان خارجی در سفرنامه‌‌های خود اطلاعات درخور توجهی درباره شرایط اجتماعی جامعه ایرانی ارائه نموده‌‌اند؛ بنابراین، مطالعه این متون به‌عنوان یکی از منابع حوزه مردم‌‌شناسی و تاریخ اجتماعی می‌‌تواند ما را در شناخت هرچه بهتر نقش و جایگاه زنان در زندگی و حیات اجتماعی ایرانیان یاری کند. این مطالعه یک پژوهش توصیفی تحلیلی است که با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌‌ای، چگونگی نحوه بازنمایی زنان در سفرنامه‌‌ها در آن مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. یافته‌‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که اگرچه گاه برخی گزارش‌‌ها بر نقش و جایگاه ضعیف و فرودستی زنان در مقایسه با مردان دلالت دارند، گزارش‌های زیادی نیز نشان می‌دهند که زنان در سطوحی، نقش برابر و گاه فرادستی در نسبت با مردان داشته‌‌ و در عرصه‌‌های مختلف اجتماعی و اقتصادی و سیاسی، حضور و نقش چشمگیری داشته‌‌اند؛ بنابراین، به‌نظر می‌رسد می‌‌توان به تحلیل‌هایی که با اتخاذ رویکردی کلان‌‌نگر و عام‌گرایانه بر حاکمیت مردسالاری و نابرابری جنسیتی در فرهنگ و تاریخ جامعه ایرانی تاکید دارد به دیده تردید نگریست.

investigating the representation of iranian women’s identity in foreign travelogues of the qajar era

the purpose of this research is to investigate how the image of iranian women is reflected in foreign travelogues. foreign tourists have provided important information about the social conditions of iranian society in their travelogues. therefore, studying these texts as one of the most significant sources in the field of anthropology and social history can help us to better understand the role and position of women in the life and social life of iranians. this study is a descriptive and analytical research, which uses library sources to examine how women are represented in travelogues. the findings of the research indicate that although some reports indicate the weak and inferior role and position of women compared to men, many reports also indicate that women play an equal and sometimes superior role in they have had a significant presence and role in different social, economic and political fields. therefore, it seems analyzes that emphasize the patriarchal rule and gender inequality in the culture and history of iranian society by adopting a macroscopic and generalist approach can be viewed with doubt.
