بنیان‌های روش‌شناختی مردم‌نگاری و مشاهده مشارکتی: معرفی روش مردم‌نگاری مجازی، دیجیتال و پساانسان‌گرا

در دو دهه گذشته، بحث درباره ابعاد و مسائل مطالعات هویتی در جامعه ما رو به گسترش بوده است. به‌نحوی‌که شاهد بحث‌‌ها و مناظره‌‌های فکری گوناگون و انتشار مقاله‌‌ها و نوشتارهای تخصصی در مجله‌‌های علمی هستیم؛ اما چیزی که در این زمینه کمتر موردتوجه قرار گرفته است، تبیین مبانی روش‌‌شناختی مطالعات مردم‌نگاری و درک تحولات متاخر نظری – روش‌‌شناختی است. پرداختن به این مسئله ازآنجایی ضرورت دارد که اگر نتوانیم مبانی و اصول روش‌‌شناختی مطالعات را فرابگیریم، امکان بازنمایی درست هویت‌‌ها و به‌تبع آن، درک و تحلیل مسائل آن را نخواهیم داشت. پرسش اصلی مقاله حاضر این است که ماهیت روش‌‌شناسی مطالعات هویتی چیست و چگونه می‌‌توان به‌صورت روشمند به درک زمینه‌‌های فکری و فرهنگی اقوام مختلف پرداخت؟ فرضیه اصلی این است که توصیف عمیق و درک کیفی زندگی اقوام، از طریق مستندسازی تعاملات و روابط انسانی در زندگی روزمره در روش‌‌ مردم‌نگاری ممکن خواهد بود. هدف اصلی نگارنده این است که با اولویت دادن به مطالعه مبانی روش‌‌شناختی مطالعات هویتی، به طرح روش‌‌های جدیدی نظیر مردم‌نگاری انتقادی، مردم‌نگاری بصری و مجازی، مردم‌نگاری دیجیتال، مردم‌نگاری پست‌‌مدرن و مردم‌نگاری پساانسان‌‌گرا پرداخته شود. تا بتوان متناسب با تحولات عمیق و سریع پدیدار شده، درک بهتری از چشم‌‌اندازهای نظری- روش‌‌شناختی این حوزه پیدا کنیم.

methodological foundations of ethnography and participatory observation: virtual, digital and post-human ethnography

in the last two decades, the debate on the dimensions and issues of ethnic studies in iranian society has been growing. as can be seen, we have various intellectual debates and the publication of specialized papers in scientific journals. but what has received less attention in this field is the explanation of the methodological foundations of ethnic studies and the understanding of recent theoretical-methodological developments in this era. it is necessary to study this issue because if we don’t learn the basics and methodological principles of ethnic studies, we will not be able to properly represent ethnic identities and understand and analyze their issues. the main question of the present article is what is the nature of the methodology of ethnic studies and how can we systematically understand the intellectual and cultural backgrounds of different ethnic groups? the main hypothesis is that a deep description and qualitative understanding of ethnic life will be possible through the documentation of human interactions and relationships in everyday life in the ethnographic method. the author’s main goal is to prioritize the study of the methodological foundations of ethnic studies and to propose new methods such as critical ethnography, visual and virtual ethnography, digital ethnography, postmodern ethnography and ethnicity, and post-humanism ethnography. i hope we can better understand the theoretical-methodological perspectives of this field in light of the profound and rapid developments that have taken place
