چالش‌های کاربست اندیشه سنت‌گرا و ضرورت بازاندیشی در معماری معاصر ایران

رابطه سنت و تجدد، مبحث پردامنه‌ای است که در بسیاری از رشته‌ها ازجمله هنر معماری به‌عنوان عرصه مهم تجلی هویت فرهنگی، موردتوجه واقع شده است. سنت‌گرایی به‌عنوان یکی از مکاتب فکری سده بیستم که داعیه احیای سنت و نجات بشر را دارد توانسته است در درک مفاهیم معماری گذشته گام‌های موثری بردارد؛ اما نتوانسته است استفاده موثر از دیدگاه‌های سنتی بی‌زمان را در جریان معماری امروز نهادینه کند. مقاله‌ی حاضر درصدد پی‌جویی علل این امر است و سعی دارد با استفاده از روش توصیفی تحلیلی و با مراجعه به مکتوبات سنت‌گرایان و سایر متون مرتبط، نسبت به نتایج عملی و نقش اندیشه و گفتمان سنت‌گرایی در معماری امروز شناخت حاصل کند. یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است که انقطاع تفکر سنتی از زبان کاربردی امروزی، همچنین نوع رویکرد سنت‌گرایان به تاریخ و انسان و عدم توجه به نقد درونی نه‌تنها سبب شده است تا کاربرد مبانی سنت‌گرایی در عمل دشوار گردد، بلکه در بروز چالش سنت در معماری معاصر تاثیرگذار بوده است. درنتیجه برای هویت‌جویی از مسیر سنت‌گرایی، بازاندیشی در تمایزسازی و مرزبندی‌های افراطی که مفاهیم سنت را از متن زندگی خارج ساخته، ضروری می‌نماید. در عرصه معماری توجه بیشتر به نگاه ساختاری به‌جای نگاه‌های شکلی یا معناییِ صرف، آگاهی از دیدگاه‌های غیر سنتی و پرهیز از عمل‌گرایی مفرط می‌تواند به تحقق معماری اصیل و هویت‌مند یاری رساند

Challenges of Applying Traditionalist Thought and Necessity of Rethinking in Contemporary Iranian Architecture

The relationship between tradition and modernity is a wideranging issue that has been addressed in many fields, including architecture as a significant realm of cultural identity manifestation. As a 20th century intellectual school, which claims to revive the tradition and save humanity, traditionalism has been able to take effective steps in understanding the concepts of past architecture. However, it has failed to institutionalize the effective application of nontemporal traditional perspectives in contemporary architecture. In seeking reasons for it, this article tries, through a descriptiveanalytical method and referring to the writings of traditionalists and other related texts, to achieve knowledge about the practical results and the role of traditionalist thought and discourse in contemporary architecture. Findings indicate that the detachment of the traditional thought from the everyday language, in addition to the traditionalists’ approach to history and human beings as well as the lack of attention to internal critique, not only made it difficult to apply the principles of traditionalism in practice but also affected the emergence of the challenge of tradition in the contemporary architecture. Consequently, as for identityseeking through traditionalism, it is necessary to rethink the extreme differentiation and demarcations that have taken the concepts of tradition out of the context of life. In architecture, more attention to the structural perspective instead of mere semantic or formal perspectives, awareness of the nontraditional perspective, and avoidance of excessive pragmatism can help the realization of original and identityoriented architecture.
