تحلیل و نقد روایت آکوئیناس ازمدل خلقت سینوی

از قدیمی ترین و مهم‌ترین مسائل متافیزیک چگونگی پیدایش کثرت و ربط آن به وحدت بوده است. ابن‌ سینا در این مسئله دیدگاهی دارد که آکوئیناس در آثار خود، آن را روایت کرده است. دو  نقد بر روایتِ آکوئیناس از ابن‌سینا وارد است: 1. آکوئیناس در گزینش برخی از واژگان لاتین برای رساندن مقصود ابن‌سینا به‌طور دقیق عمل نکرده است؛ 2. او واژۀ «قوه» را در روایت خود آورده و آن را بر همه ماسوی الله اطلاق کرده است؛ حال‌آنکه چنین اصطلاحی در ادبیات سینوی (به‌ویژه در کتاب شفا) مشاهده نمی شود. پس مسئلۀ اصلی تحقیق این است که چرا آکوئیناس چنین روایتی از نظامِ خلقتِ ابن‌سینا ارائه می دهد؟ به باور نگارندگان قرائنی وجود دارد که آکوئیناس از طریق غزالی با این نظر ابن‌سینا آشنا شده و همین امر در روایتِ او از ابن‌سینا تاثیرگذار بوده است. خوانش و معادل‌سازی آکوئیناس هرچند از جهاتی متفاوت با عبارات ابن‌سینا است، اما درعین‌حال می توان آن را سازگار با نظام فلسفۀ ابن‌سینا دانست.

A Critical Analysis of Aquinas’ Reading on the Avicenna’s Creation Model

One of the oldest and most important metaphysical problems is the creation of the multiplicity of things and their relations to oneness. Avicenna adopted a viewpoint on the issue that Aquinas has recited it in his works. Aquinas’ narration from Ibn Sina would be criticized on two grounds; First, Aquinas has not acted carefully in choosing some of the Latin words to reflect the Avicenna’s point. Second, in the Aquinas’ narration, the term potential is used referring to everything except God, while such a term does not appear in the Avicennian literature especially in Shifa (Book of Healing). Thus, the main problem of this study is that, why did Aquinas present such a reading of Ibn Sina’s creation system? According to the authors, there are pieces of evidence that show Aquinas learned about Avicenna’s viewpoint through alGhazali’s treatises. This had a great influence on his recitation of Avicenna. Although reading and terms of Aquinas are in some ways different from the Avicenna’s, it can be considered compatible with Avicenna’s philosophy.
