مددکاری اجتماعی سالمندی

مقدمه: امروزه مددکاری اجتماعی سالمندی به عنوان یکی از تخصص های این حرفه برای کمک به سالمندان و خانواده هایشان در نظر گرفته می شود. یکی از باورهای شکل گرفته در مورد جمعیت، افزایش نگران کننده جمعیت سالمندی است. جمعیت شناسان پیش بینی می کنند که تا سال2050 میلادی جمعیت سالمندان به 2 میلیارد نفر برسد. این در حالی است که بسیاری از سالمندان با فقر و مشکلات دیگری چون دسترسی محدود به خدمات بهداشتی و مراقبتی مواجه هستند. بنابراین به نظر می رسد که خدمات مددکاری اجتماعی با تقاضاهای گسترده ای برای تامین نیازهای مختلف این جمعیت در حال رشد مواجه باشد. دراین مقاله ی مروری به اهمیت مددکاری سالمندی و معرفی نقش های مددکاران سالمندی و چالش های پیش روی آن پرداخته می شود.روش: مقالات،کتاب ها و اسناد مرتبط با موضوع به شیوه ی اسنادی وکتابخانه ای، مرور و بررسی شدند.نتایج: به طور کلی خدمات مددکاری اجتماعی سالمندی در برگیرنده ی دامنه ای از خدمات مراقبتی موسسه ای تا خدمات مراقبتی مبتنی بر جامعه است. این خدمات شامل مدیریت کیس، مداخله در بحران، مراقبت های بهداشت روانی، مراقبت های روزانه، مراکز روزانه سالمندان و کمک های خانگی می باشد. البته گرایشات بیشتری در زمینه خدمات مبتنی بر جامعه وجود دارد، چرا که هدف خدمات مبتنی بر جامعه، قادرسازی سالمندان به پیرشدن در خانه ها و محیط هایشان است.بحث و نتیجه گیری: آگاهی از نقش ها و اقدامات مددکاران اجتماعی سالمندی منجر به استفاده بیشتر از توانایی های مددکاران در زمینه کمک به سالمندان و خانواده هایشان به منظور مقابله و تطابق و همزیستی با شرایط پیچیده، می شود.

Gerontological Social Work

Introduction: The gerontological social work is considered as a profession of social work to help elderly and their families. One of the beliefs of the population is an alarm increasing in the elderly population.Demographers predict that the elderly population will increase to 2 billion people by 2050. However, many elderly are faced with poverty and other problems such as limited access to health care services. It seems that social work services are faced with a wide range of demands to meet the needs of this growing population. In this review article, we discuss the importance of Gerontological Social Work and then we introduce the role of gerontological social workers and their challenges.Methodology: In this study, articles, books, and documents related to the gerontological social work were reviewed based on library and documentary method.Results: In general, gerontological social work services include a range of institutional care to communitybased care. These services include case management, crisis intervention, mental health care, daily care, elderly daily centers, and home assistance. Of course, there is more interest in communitybased services, because the purpose of communitybased services is, enabling the elderly to age in their homes and workplaces.Conclusions: Awareness of the role and activities of gerontological social workers will lead to greater use of the ability of workers to help seniors and their families to cope and adapt and coexist with complex situations.
