   Relationship between Size of Fish and Parasitic Intensity in Four Freshwater Fish Species from Tasik Merah, Perak, Peninsular Malaysia

چکیده    A total of 79 fish from tasik merah, perak, peninsular malaysia were examined for the presence of fauna. the fish species examined included puntius schwanenfeldii, puntius gonionotus, hampala macrolepidota and notopterus notopterus. meanwhile, a total of ten species of the parasites were found to be belonging to two major groups of nematode and trematode. the nematodes were capillaria sp., spinictus inermis, echinocephalus sp., microtetrameres sp., and cucullanus sp. the trematodes were paradiplozoon malayense, paradiplozoon barbi, and dactylogyrus sp.
