(original doi:10.1177/0146167215600528) the text of table 6 (regarding bivariate relationships identified in study 4) incorrectly states that political ideology and political party were scored such that “higher values indicates greater liberalism” (in table 6),despite the body text of the article indicating that open-minded cognition was positively correlated with liberalism. in fact,the political ideology and political party variables included in this study were scored in such a way that higher values indicated greater conservatism. the main text of the article is therefore accurate; however,table 6 incorrectly identified how these two variables were scored. © 2015,by the society for personality and social psychology,inc.
