بررسی اقتصاد شوشتر در دورۀ پهلوی اول: با تاکید بر صنعت و کشاورزی (1304-1320ش/1925-1941م)

شوشتر همواره یکی از مهم‌ترین مراکز کشاورزی و تجاری خوزستان و بیش‌از 13 قرن مرکز ایالت خوزستان بود؛ ولی در دورۀ پهلوی اول، به‌دلیل انتقال مرکزیت خوزستان از شوشتر به اهواز و دَرپیِ آن ازدست‌رفتن موقعیت سیاسی‌اش، روند نزولی پیدا کرد و زمینۀ انحطاط اقتصادی‌اش فراهم شد. افزون‌براین بروز بحران‌هایی در کشاورزی و صنعت شوشتر سبب شد تا اقتصاد این شهر رشد نکند.هدف: بررسی وضعیت اقتصادی شوشتر در دورۀ پهلوی اول با تاکید بر بخش صنعت و کشاورزی و تحلیل عوامل رشدنکردن دو بخش مذکور.روش/رویکرد پژوهش: این پژوهش به‌شیوۀ توصیفی-تحلیلی و با بهره‌گیری از منابع کتاب‌خانه‌ای، اسناد و مدارک آرشیوی و مصاحبه انجام شده‌است.یافته‌ها و نتایج پژوهش: عوامل گوناگون داخلی نظیر نبود سرمایه‌گذاری مناسب در کشاورزی شوشتر، وقوع بلایای طبیعی، و صنعتی‌نشدن سبب شد تا اقتصاد شوشتر درزمینۀ کشاورزی رشد نکند. ازجمله موانع رشد صنعت شوشتر در دورۀ پهلوی اول هم، عوامل سیاسی، اقتصادی و اجتماعی بود.

a study of the economy of shushtar in the first pahlavi period: with a focus on industry and agriculture (1304-1320 / 1925-1941)

purpose: shushtar has always been one of the most important agricultural and commercial centers of khuzestan and served as the provincial capital for over 13 centuries. but during the pahlavi era, due to the shift of khuzestan's administrative center from shushtar to ahwaz and subsequent loss of political status, initiating a period of decline and paving the way for its economic deterioration. furthermore, crises in agriculture and industry hindered the city's economic growth. thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate the economic situation of shushtar with an emphasis on the industrial and agricultural sectors in the first pahlavi period and to analyze the factors that impeded their development.method and research design: this study employs a descriptive-analytical method, drawing on library sources, archival documents, and interviews.findings and conclusion: various internal factors such as lack of adequate investment in shushtar agriculture, the occurrence of natural disasters, and lack of industrialization, hindered the growth of its agricultural economy. the obstacles to industrial development of shushtar during the first pahlavi era were political, economic, and social factors.
