Lassenia hemsinensis noei, saboori & çobanoğlu sp. nov. (acari: trombidiformes: tanaupodidae) collected from hemşin, rize, turkey, on rumex sp. (polygonaceae) (off host) is described. a key to the species of lassenia (larva) of the world is also provided.
