چکیده
|
Acacia mangium has been planted in large areas of southern china ever since its introduction into china in 1979. this article reports on a. mangium biomass accumulation over a period of 15 years in a plantation in southern china. the biomass of a. mangium increased from the first to the seventh year, after which the growth slowed down. eleven-year-old a. mangium can facilitate the conversion of degraded lands into mixed native species forests. this paper also points out that n and p deficiencies may be tin inhibitive factor to biomass growth.
