Arterial vascularization of stomach in donkey (Equus asinus L.) [Merkepte (Equus asinus L.) midenin arterial vaskularizasyonu]

This study was performed to determine the arterial vascularization of stomach in 10 donkey. all materials were filled with latex and dissected. it was detected that stomach was vascularised by a. hepatica,a. gastrica sinistra and a. lienalis,which are branches of a. celiaca. it was determined that a. hepatica vascularized the pars pylorica with its branch named a. gastrica sinistra and vascularised the right side of curvatura ventriculi major of stomach with its branch named a. gastroepiploica dextra. it was observed that a. gastrica sinistra gives the branches named r. parietalis and r. visceralis for the facies parietalis and facies visceralis of stomach. it was also detected that a. lienalis gives aa. gastricae breves to the half left of curvatura ventriculi major.
