An investigation of presence of FecB allele on BMPR-IB (Booroola) gene raised in Turkey in six local sheep breeds using PCR-RFLP method [Türkiye'de yetiştirilen alti{dotless} yerli koyun irki{dotless}nda BMPR-IB (Booroola) geninde FecB allel varli{dotless}ǧi{dotless}ni{dotless}n PCR-RFLP yöntemiyle araşti{dotless}ri{dotless}lmasi{dotless}]

The presence of fecb allele on booroola major gene (bmpr-ib) which has an significant effect on the prolificacy was investigated in six local sheep breeds reared in turkey,by using pcr-rflp method. as a result of these analysis,fecb allele couldn't be determined in totally 111 samples obtained from akkaraman (19 samples),morkaraman (19 samples),daǧli{dotless}ç (18 samples),ivesi (18 samples),tuj (18 samples) and karakaş (19 samples),which are the sheeps randomly selected from the flocks which are reared in different regions of turkey.
