Seroprevalance of Anaplasma marginale in cattle in Kars region [Kars yöresindeki si{dotless}ǧi{dotless}rlarda Anaplasma marginale seroprevalansi{dotless}]

This study was conducted to investigate the seroprevalance of anaplasma marginale in cattle in kars region of turkey. for this purpose,blood serum samples were collected from 188 cattle from 5 different districts of kars region. a commerically available competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (c-elisa) were used for determine antibodies to anaplasma marginale. the c-elisa results showed that 52.1% of serum samples were positive for antibodies to anaplasma marginale. the results of this study show that anaplasma marginale infection in cattle is common in kars region of turkey.
