Madam, we have read resident duty hours: globallyaccepted standards and the situation in pakistan by juma andhosein with interest. we think that they have highlighted animportant problem which is usually brushed under the carpetsas it doesn't affect the senior faculty and policy makers in thepakistani health care system. but duty hours are only part ofthe problem that residents face in pakistan.
