Cost oriented stochastic assembly line balancing problem [Maliyet tabanli stokastik montaj hatti dengeleme problem]

In today's business that need for economic studies are significant,evaluation and effective use of resources is a very important issue. therefore,in assembly lines,reduction of costs and benefit from resources such as labor efficiently has become imperative. in this paper the chance constraint mathematical model for stochastic cost oriented assembly line balancing problem has been proposed. the proposed model,have been solved for small to medium-sized problems with using ibm ilog cplex 12.4 solver. obtained the best solutions were compared with the time oriented assembly line balancing results in terms of the number of station and total labor costs.
