چکیده    The historical structures create a connection between our past and future in terms of cultural view. these structures, such as caravanserais, hammams, fountains, mosques, bridges, have been exposed to the environmental and human being damaging effects. it has observed in many mosques that the wooden roofs were converted to the reinforced concrete domes in the traditional mosques. in this study,it is aimed to determine the effects of this application on the dynamic behavior of the masonry mosques. the dubinar mosque, which was restored in 2013 by regional directory of foundation,in the akçaabat, trabzon, was selected for this study. the mosque which composed of both rubble and cut stone walls, had lost the originality by adding concrete domes, gathering place and entrance to the main body. it was gained back the original characteristics of the mosque by the restoration. the dynamic characteristics, natural frequencies, mode shapes and modal damping ratios, were attained for the unrestored and restored cases by ambient vibration test and compared with each other. the results were evaluated in terms of both the effects of the additional members on the dynamic behavior and restoration applications.
