چکیده    For this study,0-4 % (in wt.) al4c3 particles were added to aa2014 powders and pressed under 660 mpa pressure at 200 oc. compacted powder pellets were sintered at 580 °c under argon gas atmosphere for 60 minutes. the sintered specimens were solved at 510 °c for 420 minutes and quenched to obtain a supersaturated solution. in order to determine the optimum ageing time at 190 °c,the ageing process was applied at different times. after heat treatments,it was aimed to find out the ageing conditions with the help of scanning electron microscopy images and macro- and micro-hardness studies. it was found that the average ageing time for the specimens was 400-450 minutes.
