چکیده    In this study,thermodynamic analysis,design and manufacturing of a beta type stirling engine with rhombic drive mechanism have been carried out. thermodynamic analysis of the engine has been carried out using nodal analysis method. engine powers were estimated for 200,300 and 400 w/m2k heat transfer coefficient and 2 bar charge pressure. lpg fuel burner was used as heat source at engine performance tests. air was used as working fluid. in the experiments,the effect of charge pressure on engine performance was investigated by varying charge pressure between 1 and 4 bar. the experiments were carried out at hot source temperature of 773±5 k and cold source temperature of 300 k. maximum engine power was obtained as 158.53 w at 2 bar charge pressure and 408 rpm engine speed. maximum engine torque was obtained as 4.69 nm at 3 bar charge pressure and engine speed of 262 rpm. heat transfer coefficient was obtained as 268.3 w/m2k by using the conditions providing maximum engine power in nodal analysis.
