چکیده    Measurements intended for dust emission are scarce,because no significant data sets and measurements exist in the world. dust cycle prediction models are capable of producing realistic distribution of dust for any regional area. for this reason,atmospheric dust models are widely used for such studies. the main goal of this study is to demonstrate temporal and spatial dust emission variability with modeling in turkey. bsc-dream8b model has been used to simulate dust emission in this study. in the model,usgs 1-km vegetation dataset,fao 4-km global soil texture data and ecmwf meteorological data have been included as initial and boundary condition. seasonally aggregated dust emission rates have been calculated from obtained data for turkey. as a result,simulations show that the locations of maximum dust emission rates are in the middle and southeastern regions of turkey,especially around nevşehir,konya and şirnak provinces. besides,maximum total dust emission rate for the turkey occurs in the spring,and minimum total dust emission rate occurs in the winter.
