چکیده    In the present study,it was aimed to determine spatial polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (pah) pollution levels and pah ring distribution of soils in olive grove areas in bursa during spring season. soil samples were collected from 7 regions located in the province of bursa. samples were ultrasonically extracted and pah concentrations were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (gc-ms). the highest σ12 pah level was measured in gemlik campus (gk) as 13993 ng/g dry matter (dm) and the minimum concentration was measured as 5 ng/g dm in mudanya yorukali (my) which is classified as rural area. it was concluded that residential area, heavy traffic and harbor caused to obtain the highest pah concentration in gk sampling point. overall,4-ring pah compounds (fl,pyr, baa and chr) were dominant (average 72%) in the soil samples. this was followed by 3-ring compounds with average ratio of 22%. the σ12 bapeq values ranged from 12.3 to 399.4 ng/g dm.
