چکیده
|
Phytochemical investigation of the aerial part of ononis natrix l. led to the isolation of a new compound,6-(2′ r-acetoxypentadecyl)-2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid (1),along with twenty one known compounds. the structures of the compounds were elucidated by standard spectroscopic methods. these compounds were screened for cytotoxic,antioxidant,antimicrobial,antimalarial,antileishmanial and antitrypanosomal activities using in vitro assays.
