   Facile synthesis and characterization of poly(carbonylurea-alt-potassium dihydrogen phosphate) (PCUO-KDP)

چکیده    Poly(carbonyl urea) oligomer (pcuo) was successfully synthesized by the condensation polymerization of urea and dimethyl carbonate with the self-made catalyst. and then it was further employed to reacted with potassium dihydrogen phosphate (kdp) to obtain poly(carbonyl urea-alt-potassium dihydrogen phosphate) (pcuo-kdp) by melt polycondensation. the oligomer pcuo was characterized by ft-ir,13c-nmr and elemental analysis,and then pcuo-kdp diblock copolymer was characterized by 31p-nmr. the effect of the molar ratio of pcuo to kdp,the reaction time and the reaction temperature on the yields or number-average molecular weight (mn) of polymerization was further investigated in detail. the results indicate that the yields,viscosity,and mn of the pcuo-kdp were significantly affected by the reaction conditions. © 2015,chemical society of pakistan. all rights reserved.
