   Synthesis and insecticidal activity of fipronil-5-amine derivatives with aromatic aldehyde group

چکیده    A series of novel shiff bases structurally related to fipronil were designed and synthesized in a practical way and their insecticidal activities against spodoptera litura and plutella xylostella (l.) were determined. all of the shiff bases compounds 1,2,3,4,5,11,12,13 showed higher bioactivities than fipronil. the preliminary results showed the formation of shiff bases was able to favor the insecticidal activity when compared to fipronil,and the double bond in c = n played an important role on the insecticidal activity.
