   Isolation of flavones from indigenous Dodonaea viscosa

چکیده    Here in we report the isolation and structure elucidation of pure compounds from chloroform and ethyle acetae soluble fractions of dodonaea viscose. the chloroform soluble fraction yielded 6β-hydroxy-15,16-epoxy-5β,8β,9β,10α-celoda-3,13(16),14-trien-18-oic acid 1,2β- hydroxy-15,16-epoxy-5β,8β,9β,10α-celoda-3,13(16),14-trien-18-oic acid 2,3,5,7-trihydroxy 6,- dimethoxyflavanone 3 while ethyl acetate fraction resulted 3,5,-trihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxyflavone 4 and 5,4-dihydroxy-3,6,7-trimethoxyflavone 5. structures of all the isolated compounds were established with the help of spectroscopic techniques including; uv,ir,mass,1d and 2d nmr spectroscopy.
