|
Here in we report the isolation and structure elucidation of pure compounds from chloroform and ethyle acetae soluble fractions of dodonaea viscose. the chloroform soluble fraction yielded 6β-hydroxy-15,16-epoxy-5β,8β,9β,10α-celoda-3,13(16),14-trien-18-oic acid 1,2β- hydroxy-15,16-epoxy-5β,8β,9β,10α-celoda-3,13(16),14-trien-18-oic acid 2,3,5,7-trihydroxy 6,- dimethoxyflavanone 3 while ethyl acetate fraction resulted 3,5,-trihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxyflavone 4 and 5,4-dihydroxy-3,6,7-trimethoxyflavone 5. structures of all the isolated compounds were established with the help of spectroscopic techniques including; uv,ir,mass,1d and 2d nmr spectroscopy.
