A-chymotrypsin and urease inhibitory activity of diversolides C,D and e from the roots of ferula diversivittata

چکیده
|
Sesquiterpene lactone derivatives,diversolides-c (giferolide) (1),-d (malafilin) (2),and -e (fegvolide) (3),isolated from the roots of ferula diversivittata,regel. & schmalh,were evaluated for μ-chymotrypsin and urease inhibition activities. diversolide-e (3) was found to be a moderate inhibitor against both enzymes while all others were found to be inactive. the ic 50 ± sem values of 3 were 388.2 ± 1.7 μm,and 116.0 ± 4.8 μm for μ-chymotrypsin and urease,respectively.
