چکیده
|
Prudomestisides a (1) and b (2),new flavonoidal glucosides,together with three known compounds 5,2'-dihydroxy-7,5'-dimethoxyflavanone (3),3,5,7-trihydroxy-6,4'-dimethoxyflavone (4) and 5,4?-dihydroxyflavone-7-o-β- d-glucoside- (5),have been isolated from the n-butanol and ethyl acetate soluble sub-fractions of the ethanolic extract of the shoots of prunus domestica. their structures have been elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data including 2d nmr. both the compounds 1 and 2 showed potent antioxidant activity in dpph radical scavenging assay.
