چکیده    This paper reports on the synthesis and characterization of soluble organic composites formed by mixing a polymer polyaniline (pani) with polyethylene oxide (peo) in different weight ratios. intrinsically conducting polymer pani is used as matrix and the non-conducting polymer peo is used as filler. the pani was synthesized by chemical route and then mixed physically with peo for composite formation. these composites have been characterized by various techniques like tga, sem,uv,xrd and cylic voltammetry (cv). the solubility as well as thermal stability of pani is increased with increasing amount of peo in the composites. however, large amount of peo in the composite suppressed the conductivity of pani upto some extent but this does not affect the overall conducting property of pani. the conducting property of pani remains intact, while the solubility and thermal stability of pani-peo composite show better results than pani alone. © 2016,chemical society of pakistan. all rights reserved.
